Our focus on care includes: Community Support: Offering assistance to Ijaw individuals and families in need, including newcomers to Australia, through mentorship programs, financial aid, and other resources. Well-being: Prioritizing the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of our members by organizing wellness programs, counseling services, and health awareness campaigns. Purpose and Activities.

The Association provides support to its members who are migrants and residents in
Australia.
It aims to promote better integration within the Australian society while
strengthening ethnic and cultural ties.
Foster co-operation, understanding, unity and fellowship among Ijaws and
Australians.
Promote and protect the well being of all Ijaws such as providing members
representation on issues that affect the Ijaw Community in Australia.
To foster communal co-existence with other groups in Australia.
To promote and communicate Ijaw Heritage and culture.
To help and support members when difficulties arise.
To ensure Australians and Migrants of Ijaw heritage assess services that meet the
diverse needs of members in the Community.
